Resources Bhd (Co. No. 630878-X) or the DPSR
Group. Its revenues are mainly derived from three (3) areas. First,
as OEM manufacturers for various international brands in rubberwood furnitures
of export quality in accordance with customer specifications. Second, DPSR
Group also manufactures rubberwood furniture under its own trademark,
i.e. SHANTAWOOD and focuses on rubberwood dining sets line. Thirdly, with its
versatile plant and machinery, DPSR Group
also produces other range of furniture such as for home furnishings to commercial
furniture, using various types of wood.
DPSR
Group has one of the largest kiln drying facilities in Melaka, Malaysia.
After undertaking processes such as pressure treatment, kiln drying and lamination,
components and materials are further processed into furniture. Excess components
and materials are sold to other smaller local furniture manufacturers as semi-finished
products, besides production of rooftrusses.
